The Last Time: Nation bumpkin Ferder is moved to the N.Y. home outside of a business where sales exec. Keaton prides himself on his take-no-captives strategies. He mentors the ignorant newcomer and ends up in bed with his attractive spouse. There’s more going on than meets the eye albeit the setup is permanently evident. Little-group stuff, however Keaton is excellent. Cast includes Michael Keaton, Brendan Fraser, Amber Valletta, Daniel Stem, Neal McDonough, and William Ragsdale. (96 minutes, 2007)

Farenheit 9/11: A controversial documentary by Michael Moore. Looking back on 9/11 Mr. Moore takes a controversial look at the relationship that exists between the Bush’s and the family of Osama Bin Ladin. It also delves into the oil connections that seem could be involved.

After Life: This is a beautifully informed story of caseworkers at a train station between the galaxies who help the lately departed pick a lone minute from their pasts to live inside for the remainder of forever. This is a calm, poetic assessment of life, mortality, and memory, filled with soft humor and blessedly free of some feel-excellent bromides. Cast includes Aarata, Erika Oda, Susuma Terajirna, Taketoshi Naito, Kyoko Kagawa, Kei Tani, Takashi Naito, and Yusuke lseya. (118 minutes, 1998)

Consenting Adults: Richard and Priscilla Parker have a normal mundane life. When Eddy and Kay Otis move next door, everything is going to change. When thing escalate to wife swapping, things really start to spiral out of control.

Hoosiers: This is a story about high school basketball in a small Indiana town that went on to greatness one year. The movie is based on the true story of a small town team that went all the way to win the state championship in 1954. A coach from out of town, and a former player at the school who is the town drunk, lead the team in this very inspirational film.

A Little Sex: This movie is essentially an R-rated Television-film, with Matheson wedding long-time girlftiend Capshaw wishing it can break him of his habit of chasing woman. Cast includes Tim Matheson, Kate Capshaw, Edward Herrmann, John Glover, Joan Copeland, Susanna Dalton, Wendie Malick, Wallace Shawn, Melinda Culea, and Bill Smitrovich. (95 minutes, 1982)

Blaze: Newman gives a showy, uninhibited behavior as Earl Long, the elaborate governor of Louisiana in the 1950s who dropped headlong in love with stripper Flame Starr Davidovich, in her first steel role. Seemingly definite tale, peppered with vibrant characters and episodes, falls alarmingly flat eventually and on no account recoups. Genuine-life Flame Starr appears fleetingly as Lily, the stripper whose shoulder Newman smooches backstageCast includes Paul Newman, Lolita Davidovich, Jerry Hardin, Gailard Sartain, Jeffrey DeMunn, Garland Bunting, Richard Jenkins, and Robert Wuhl. (119 minutes, 1989)

Border Shootout: Ignorant rancher is made deputy in Arizona boundary town that’s tired of with aging sheriff Ford, however the townspeople’s lynching of supposed rustlers brings in reference to instant conflict. Here is an Excellent Western structure from the Elmore Leonard novel that is wrecked by amateurish production. Ford appears to be strolling through his role. Illuminating ski scenes make eases worth persevering. Cast includes Robert Redford, Gene Hackman, Camilla Sparv, Karl Michael Vogler, Jim McMullan, Christian Doermer, and Dabney Coleman. (102 minutes, 1969)
